Mouse Cursor in Windows 10
- Windows 10 setup
It so happened historically that from version to version, in the operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10, the mouse pointer always looked “average” and most often, users didn’t even think about set it up or change it somehow. Of course, over time, at least 30-40% of the same users had a desire and they began to experiment, since there weren’t always enough options in terms of customizing the system itself to change everything that the user wanted to “customize for himself”. So, gradually, the mouse cursor in Windows 10 underwent the greatest evolution and even at the moment the May 2019 Update (version 1903) was released, any of those who worked with this system got the opportunity to configure its highest quality.
The essence of setting the mouse cursor boils down to the fact that Microsoft decided to offer all users a simple scheme for setting up their software using the most primitive options.
How to adjust the mouse cursor in Windows 10?
Everything is configured in the “tenth” version of the OS almost identically on all computers, the main thing is to remember that you can get the maximum available options for setting the pointer, provided that the system is updated with at least May 2019 Update (1903).
After the update, you can safely proceed to the main settings of the pointer: it all starts with the “standard” opening of the “Settings” section → now, refer to the section like “Accessibility” → as it’s not strange, but go to the “Display” → select “Cursor and pointer” → and here, the most interesting part begins, since in the right part of the window open with the settings, you have two additional options that you can configure:
- “Size of the cursor and the mouse pointer” - it is not difficult to adjust the size, as this provides for the extremely simple movement of the “slider” on the scale, which, in fact, is responsible for increasing or decreasing the pointer.
- “Color of the mouse pointer” - here, the setting boils down to the fact that you will be offered several ready-made “blocks” with colors, from which you can choose the one that impresses you. If, however, you cannot choose the available colors, then you should click on the “Select” pointer color block and already here, you will have a “palette” that will allow you to choose exactly the color that you need.
All changes that will be made to the system settings will immediately make the mouse cursor in Windows 10 the way you would like to see it, especially since there are no additional actions in terms of restarting the OS or something else , do not have to produce.
